For adults & kids ages 4+Faith Reformed is a Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) congregation that has been worshiping in Erie for decades. We are families, students, retirees, and folks somewhere in between — all weak, all welcome, all leaning on the same Savior.
You will find us reverent without being stuffy, joyful without being noisy, and clear about the gospel without ever pretending we have it all figured out. If that sounds like home, come Sunday.
First-time visits can feel intimidating. They shouldn't. Here is exactly what will happen, what to wear, and what to do with your kids.
An elder or pastor leads us through the order of worship printed in the bulletin (grab one as you walk in). We sing hymns, songs, and psalms accompanied by piano. We confess sin, recite the historic creeds, and listen to Scripture preached passage by passage with an eye to real life.
A church with the squeaks, coos, and shifting of children is a church with a bright future. We have no separate childcare during worship; we want kids in the room. Each service includes a special Children's Message — a few minutes set aside just for our little ones, tied to that morning's Gospel reading. There's also a rocking and changing area just outside the sanctuary, and a downstairs Mothers' Nursery and fellowship room if your little one needs space.
Following the sermon, we celebrate the Lord's Supper together. We serve gluten-free bread so that everyone can partake, and the building is wheelchair accessible. Have other accessibility needs? Just give us a heads-up before Sunday.
Many of us land somewhere around business casual. Others wear jeans. Nobody is taking notes. Just show up.
Our elders shepherd; our deacons serve. They are not professionals — they are family men with day jobs who took on the call to look after this flock.

Our last pastor retired in February of 2026. Our Pastoral Search Committee has been working diligently to find our next pastor — and we're hopeful it won't be much longer. In the meantime, our elders preach, our people pray, and the Word goes out.
We believe the God we serve is holy, righteous, good, just, loving, and full of mercy. We believe salvation is by grace, through faith alone, in Christ alone — and that faith without works is dead. And we believe in the spiritual unity of all who trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and final authority for what we believe and how we live. We preach it passage by passage — not the parts we like, all of it.
We worship one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory, distinct in role.
Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, raised bodily on the third day, ascended to the Father, and coming again to judge the living and the dead.
Salvation is the free gift of God — not earned, not deserved, never repayable. We respond by faith and prove the reality of that faith with our lives.
Christ has one Church, made up of every tribe, tongue, and generation. We are part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and gladly belong to a body bigger than ourselves.
Christ will return. The dead will be raised. All things will be made new. We live now in light of that day.
We have a duty to preserve the faith and preach the whole counsel of God. To that end we subscribe to the ecumenical creeds and the Westminster Standards:
If you've found a home here — or you'd like to — there's a place for you on one of these teams. None of them require a special title. They just require showing up.
Cook for sick or grieving members and our young adults ministry, or drive meals to people who need them.
Set up, tear down, and make sure things actually get done for our monthly luncheons and special events.
Keep the building looking like someone loves it — because we do.
Run the audio and video equipment on Sunday mornings and at special services.
Give college students and others without a ride a way to get to worship.
Use your gifts as a musician or vocalist to help us sing.
Slice the bread, fill the cups, and quietly serve the body before they ever see you.
Tell us your gift. We'll help you put it to work.
Our weeks are simpler than most. The headline is always Sunday. Around it we host Sunday School, fellowship gatherings, and the occasional luncheon worth driving across town for.
Adults and children (age 4+) — teaching, discussion, and coffee before worship.
Singing, Scripture, prayer, preaching, and the Lord's Supper — every week without fail.
Stay after worship on the last Sunday of the month. Bring a dish or just bring yourself.
A shared meal at 6:30 PM followed by Bible study at 7:30 PM. Come for both, or just join us at 7:30 for the study — all are welcome.
Worship moves to 10:00 AM through Labor Day weekend. No Sunday School during summer.
Families host the young adults for a meal and Bible study. Every other Friday night, September through April. Come hungry.
